The deal
Runvas gives you a license to use the app on any Apple device you personally own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You can run routes, draw shapes, share screenshots, and export GPX files for your personal training. What you can't do: resell the app, redistribute its source, or use it to build a competing product.
Your responsibilities
- Run safely. Runvas generates routes on public streets. Watch for traffic, obey local laws, don't run in a tunnel looking at your phone. You, and only you, are responsible for your safety.
- Don't break the law. Don't use routes that trespass, run in restricted areas, or violate local regulations.
- Don't abuse the service. No scraping our API, reverse engineering the app, or trying to extract paid features without paying.
Your content
Routes you create, shapes you draw, and data you generate with Runvas belong to you. You grant us a narrow license to store and transmit this content solely to make the app work on your device — nothing else, and we never sell it.
App availability
We do our best to keep Runvas running reliably, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Apple and Firebase occasionally have outages that affect us. If something is broken, email hello@runvas.app and we'll fix it as soon as we can.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date at the top and notify you in-app before the change takes effect. If you keep using Runvas after a change, you've accepted the new terms. If you don't agree, delete the app.
Disclaimer
Runvas is provided "as is." We don't warrant that routes are flawless or that the app will never crash. You use the app at your own risk. We're not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of Runvas, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts of the jurisdiction where Runvas operates, which will be identified to you on request.

One more thing
These terms cover the basics but may not address every edge case in your jurisdiction. If you need legal certainty, consult a lawyer.
