Sketch any shape — a heart, a dinosaur, your kid's name — and Runvas turns it into a runnable route that fits your pace. Paint your city, one stride at a time.
Every shape becomes a real route with real turns, real distance, and real pace targets. No illegal shortcuts through buildings. Just art, on foot.
Every feature earns its place. No step-counting gamification, no social guilt loops — just the tools that make running feel like making something.
Tap, drag, or freehand. We'll snap your drawing to real streets — no shortcuts through buildings.
Spell any word and Runvas plots each letter across the map, scaled to your distance target.
Watch your planned route animate in real time. Know exactly where you're going before you step out.
One tap sends your route to Strava, Garmin, Apple Health, or your watch. Your art, everywhere.
Stack multiple shapes into one session. Warm-up letter, main shape, cool-down loop — all runnable.
Open the app, draw, go. That's it.
Pick a shape, type a word, or draw freeform. Drop it anywhere on the map.
Runvas snaps your shape onto real streets and hits your distance target.
Follow turn-by-turn and watch the shape emerge as you go.
When you draw on the map, Runvas analyses the shape's geometry and matches it to the nearest walkable and runnable streets using Apple's MapKit directions. Sharp turns get smoothed, dead ends get rerouted, and the total distance is tuned to your target. The result is a route that preserves the shape of your sketch while being something you can actually run.
Route generation needs an internet connection for directions and map data. Once a route is generated, you can run it offline — Runvas caches the map tiles and route data locally, so spotty service in the middle of your run won't break anything.
Yes. Every route exports to GPX, the universal format. Upload to Strava, Garmin Connect, Apple Fitness, or any running app that accepts GPX. Or just share the screenshot of your shape traced on the map — it makes for a much better Instagram post than "I ran 5K."
Your routes live on your device. We don't sell location data, we don't share it with ad networks, and we don't build a profile of where you run. AdMob uses the standard iOS advertising identifier (which you can disable in Settings → Privacy → Tracking) for ad targeting. If you want zero tracking, say no to the tracking prompt on first launch — the app works identically.
We're a small team. iPhone first, Android later. If you're on Android and want early access when we get there, drop your email below.
Yes. Runvas is made by a small team who actually runs — not a marketing department, not a factory churning out fitness apps. Every feature is built, tested, and maintained by people who use the app every day. You can reach us at hello@runvas.app.
Download Runvas, sketch something, and go run it. It's that simple.
